Molteni HMDV Pressmixer

 

The Molteni HMDV Pressmixer combines the mixing action of the HMDV with a bottom entering ram for discharge of the finished batch.

 

As with the HMDV RTC, the mixing tool is hydraulically raised and lowered from the bottom to the top of the vessel as it rotates at high speeds. The entire process takes place under vacuum to completely exclude exposure to the atmosphere.

 

When the batch mixing is complete the discharge ram rises and forces the batch out of the discharge valve in the cover, under pressure.
